Job Title: Cost Analyst/Engineer

Description:This position assists Project Managers and Superintendents with a variety of administrative support tasks and production reporting, both of which require independent judgment on routine matters, by performing the following duties.

Has the ability to be responsible for relieving supervisors and other administrative employees of
their administrative workload in support of a jobsite, department, or office
Has very good organizational skills with the ability to use word processing software to produce
documents, maintain records to provide accurate documentation of work performed, create and
maintain filing systems or databases to provide easy access to records and information, and
communicate information to employees and supervisors
Compose correspondence on routine matters, edit documents and transfer information to
corporate office.
Collect and assemble data and background materials for reports
Maintain data base and spreadsheet programs to produce summary reports
Must be committed to teamwork and have a shared commitment to quality of work as well as
demonstrating willingness to assume ownership in completion of assigned tasks.
May be supervised by a production supervisor or other administrative employee who may assign
and review work.
May work directly with production and maintenance supervisors to assist in timesheets, daily
production records, and surveys using GPS, as necessary.
May occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends.
Have knowledge of all Company policies, procedures, regulations and recordkeeping practices
Assist with the development of mine plans by computing cycle times, equipment hours,
manpower demands, and schedules.

Education and Experience:

to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

a Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.

a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training (Years of schooling and internships would qualify towards the (2) years of related experience) or an equivalent combination of education and experience; certain assignments may require
experience related to specific areas such as use of survey equipment

Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
have a valid Driver’s License
have the ability to be bonded
